Friends of Detroit Rowing

In 1972, Friends of Detroit Rowing (FODR) was formed as a non-profit organization to preserve the history and function of Detroit rowing while expanding access to the sport throughout the metropolitan area. FODR programming introduces new rowers to the sport, offers training for competitive rowers, and supports the under-represented within rowing.

Friends of Detroit Rowing is a recipient of GuideStar’s Silver Seal of Transparency.
