
Chattanooga, Tenn. – The Detroit Boat Club Crew fielded 11 boats racing to top ten finishes at the Head of the Hooch including first place victories for both the men’s masters 4+ and the 8.
The DBCC also had Zach Weise, Tom Janiak, Stephen Malbouef, and Mike Gentile finish with bronze in the Men’s Open 4+. Finishing just outside the medals in forth place were M.J. Wilson and Cam Teranes in the Women’s Championship 2x; Malbouef and Wiese in the Men’s Championship 2x; Will White in the Men’s Junior 1x; White, Weise, Mike Dezsi, and Ryan Roby in the Men’s Open 4x ; and finally Malbouf and Weise finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the Men’s LW1x.

Other top ten finishes included the Men’s Junior 2x with Nick Marchi and Will White coming in 8th, and the Women’s Junior LW4+ finishing 8th with a line-up of Tess Kadian, Cam Teranes, Alex Rollins, Sarah Stephens, and Kate George.
The DBCC Masters scored 176 points and finished third among crews for the Masters Points trophy and, as a whole the DBCC accumulated 260 team points.
