Adult Learn to Row

The Detroit Boat Club Crew Adult Learn to Row program provides a fun, hands‑on introduction to the sport along the shores of Belle Isle. Each two‑week session meets Monday–Thursday from 6:30-8:00 PM, where you’ll learn the basics of rowing, teamwork, and boat handling in a safe, supportive environment. No experience necessary! You’ll begin on the training barge to build confidence and rhythm, then progress into racing shells and sculling boats as your skills grow.
