Youth Programs
Detroit Boat Club Crew Junior Racing Rowing is a highly competitive team that trains year-round. Our athletes come from across Southeast Michigan and represent more than ten area schools. The team competes in regional, national, and international level regattas including Youth Nationals, The Head of the Charles, and the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta.
The vast majority of our athletes go on to compete in college and attain significant scholarships on an annual basis. Friends of Detroit Rowing also offers middle school rowing options that include competitive after-school programs, two-week Learn to Row summer camps, and STEM to Stern classes.
