Philadelphia – Stephen Malbouef represented both the Detroit Boat Club Crew and University of Detroit Mercy finishing third in the Collegiate 1x at the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta. After finishing first in his heat
with a time of 7:51.552, he moved on to the final where he rowed to a bronze medal finish. Malbouef finished in 7:42.553, finishing behind second place, Iona College, and first place, Lafayette College.
